Overview

PlushDex is designed as a private personal collection. Your saved plushie collection, notes, favorites, and photos remain on your device.

Photo identification

When you choose to identify a plushie, the selected photo is securely sent to our cloud identification service and its AI processing provider solely to produce an identification result. Photos are not used for advertising or tracking, are not linked to an account, and PlushDex does not create user profiles.

Camera and photo library

Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to photograph or select a plushie. PlushDex does not scan your library in the background.

Data we do not collect

PlushDex does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or payment information. We do not sell personal information and do not track you across apps or websites.

Local data

Your collection is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage technologies. Removing the app may remove this local data unless it is restored through an Apple device backup.

Service providers

Cloud photo identification is routed through Supabase and an AI inference provider. These services receive only the information needed to process the request and are subject to their own security and privacy practices.

Children

PlushDex does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include social features, public profiles, or targeted advertising.
